Our Respite Services, which include Short-Term Accommodation (STA) and Medium-Term Accommodation (MTA), provide a safe and nurturing environment for participants while offering families temporary relief and peace of mind.

Whether you require Short-Term Accommodation (STA) for a brief period or Medium-Term Accommodation (MTA) for more extended care needs, our respite services are designed to be flexible and responsive. We tailor our care arrangements to suit your specific situation, ensuring participants are safe, supported, and comfortable during their stay.

Emergency and Alternative Care

In addition to planned respite care, we provide emergency care for children and young people under Alternative Care Arrangements and Individual Placement Agreements. Our Short-Term Emergency Placement (STEP) service offers immediate care when urgent support is required, ensuring that children and young people have a secure and nurturing environment during times of crisis.

Therapeutic Care Model

As a registered NDIS provider and an accredited VOOHC (Voluntary Out-of-Home Care) provider, Empowerment Care Services operates under a Therapeutic Care Model. Our approach is grounded in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) and Children and Residential Experiences (CARE) practices, ensuring that the care we provide is trauma-informed, compassionate, and focused on the long-term wellbeing of each participant.
